Raised Ranch — Safety and reports
Last updated: October 6, 2026
Raised Ranch is rated for all ages. This page explains, in plain words, how we protect people who play with friends and how we handle reports.
How the game protects you
- Steam friends only. There is no playing with strangers and no public player list.
- No chat and no typed text. Interaction happens through actions (visiting, gifting, helping water, playing together) and ready-made reactions.
- Off by default. Co-op and neighborhood only work after you turn them on in the options.
- Parental lock. A PIN in the options keeps friend features, usage data and the paid-content showcase off.
- Steam blocking. Anyone you block on Steam disappears from friend features.
- No loot boxes. Nothing in the game is randomly drawn for money.
How to report
- In the game, open the Neighbors panel and press "Report" next to the friend (also in the co-op list). Choose the reason: your email app opens with the report ready, and you just send it. Or email contato@swstech.com.br describing what happened.
- You can also report and block through the person's Steam profile.
What happens next
- We read every report and reply to the reporter within 15 days with the outcome.
- We look at what happened in the game (for example: repeated gifts or visits to annoy someone, leaderboard cheating).
- Measures, in steps: warning → removal from leaderboards and the community goal → 30-day suspension of friend features → permanent suspension of friend features. The solo game is never taken away.
- Review: anyone who received a measure can ask for a review within 30 days at the same email; we answer within 15 days.
Transparency
Once a year we publish here how many reports we received, how many measures we applied and what we improved. The first report comes out one year after launch.
